Hi.

Is there a way to allow clients connect to WiFi only after do a "like"
on a specific Facebook page? WiFidog or Nodogsplash can do this
without patches?

What you're describing is referred to as "social login" for hotspot
providers. I think Coova tried to support this several years ago in their
CoovaAAA project, but this development appears to be abandoned.

RADIUSDesk claims to support social login using CoovaChilli on the
hotspots, although it is a full freeRADIUS + management dashboard package.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/radiusdesk/

Also, though unfortunately inaccessible to OpenWRT at large, Cloudtrax just
recently announced Facebook integration for the proprietary CoovaChilli
clone they've rolled into their latest (OpenWRT-based) firmware.

Might also want to check out David Bird's blog:
http://www.coova.org/node/96

And ask the team at Sputnik if they have a Facebook plug-in
authentication option:
http://sputnik.com/

Or inquire with Facebook directly since they offered this capability
themselves at one point, but only on one or two platforms (running
OpenWrt). I'm not sure if they still support it (but it was slick/easy
because it tied into the venue Facebook page to fetch images and names
and created the portal page automatically.)

Hi Thiago,

Yes as Ben noted RADIUSdesk supports social login with the most popular
ones (FB Google and Twitter supported out out of the box) for both Coova
Chilli and Mikrotik.

You should however take note that Like-gating has been banned by FB.

So the best 'legal' service that one can offer now is just standard Login
using an FB account.

We are investigating the Check-in alternative that one can offer although
it seems to be again tightly integrated into the FB WiFi hotspots (read
proprietary) and if one want too use that in your own implementation the
FB application will want so much rights no-one in their right mind would
ever accept that request.
